George Mitchell

Welcome to my webpage!

I am a Doctoral Lecturer in the department of Mathematics and Computer Science at John Jay College of Criminal Justice.

I obtained a PhD in Mathematics from the City University of New York, where I was advised by Andrew Obus. You can learn more about my research here. I completed an MMath at Newcastle University in the UK.

I was a Research Intern at Microsoft, working on Post-Quantum Cryptography protocols and Supersingular Isogenies.

After obtaining my PhD, I gained industry experience in data science and statistical analysis. I am a graduate of the Erdos Institute. You can see some of my projects on my github page.

I have created a dash application in python, exhibiting some techniques I have learned about finance and plotly. You can find the dashboard app at https://bloom-dash-app.onrender.com.
